Your 2013 football student ticket will not be loaded into your account until mid-August.  At that time, all students will be notified via email about their login information.  Student accounts are assigned by the Athletics Department, do not create your own account.  

Home games are played at Sun Life Stadium
- Buses run from Sanford Circle beginning 90 minutes prior to kickoff
- Student entrance: Gate B (northeast corner of stadium)

Students may purchase one additional guest ticket per game*
- Price: $19.50 (*non-conference), $24.50 (ACC)
- *Sept. 7 game vs. Florida not available
- Guest tickets are available through your online account
- All guests must present a valid photo ID and sit in the student section

Students may purchase one ticket for all away football games
- Tickets can be purchased at the BankUnited Center with a valid UM Cane Card or over the phone with proper student information
- Purchased tickets can be picked up at the BankUnited Center or at the will call window of the host institution. Valid photo ID is required to pick up the ticket


Upon payment of Athletics Fee, all students have the opportunity to obtain one ticket for all home athletics events on a semester basis. This fee for the 2013-14 year is $69 per semester.

  • Undergraduate: Included in the tuition of an undergraduate student is the Athletics Fee. This mandatory fee will allow each undergraduate one admission, or ticket, to all UM sporting events.

  • Graduate, Medical and Law Students: The Athletic Fee is optional for all graduate, medical and law students. This fee is per-semester. To pay your athletic fee, please visit CaneLink, and click on add optional fees to bill. Only the Athletics fee is accepted for student tickets.

Accessing Your Student Account
All students will be issued a CanesTix account number which remain the same throughout a student's career at UM and upon graduation. Your CanesTix account number will be emailed to you in the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters.

- If you do not know your password, click "Forgot Password."
- Once you have logged in, click the game you want to attend.
- Check the box next to your ticket and click "Paperless."
- Follow the steps on screen to activate your ticket on your CaneCard.
- After you have activated your ticket, bring your Cane Card to the Stadium.

Code of Conduct
All fans entering the stadium or arena will adhere to all policies as outlined by the facility. Additionally, all UM students will uphold the code of conduct as outlined by the Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook. Students accompanying a guest to the game will be held responsible for all actions of their guest. Any student, or guest, whose actions violate facility policies and/or the University of Miami honor code, may be ejected from the game, and subject to a judicial hearing with UM Student Affairs.

Student tickets for all athletic events can ONLY be used by the student that attends the University of Miami. Student tickets are not transferable to family or friends.

There are NO guest tickets for basketball.

There are NO away game tickets available to students.

Resolution Line

All Students must visit the resolution line if they have:

  • Not activated their cane card; or
  • Experience issues swiping their cane card

Men’s Basketball: resolution area located outside of student entrance.
Women’s Basketball: students must seek help from the main tickets windows.

Priority Access
Four (4) predetermined men’s basketball games will grant priority entrance to students who attend the corresponding women’s basketball games. Based on your scanned attendance, students will receive communication via email regarding the entry process. Please note, priority entry to the men’s game will only be granted to the first 500 student who attend the corresponding women’s game.

The Athletics Fee applies to Athletic events on a semester basis. Therefore, if you wish to attend all games throughout the season, this fee must be selected for both the fall and spring semesters.


Tickets are FREE for all students who have paid their athletics fee.

Instructions on how to log into your online account to print your student tickets will be posted in February.
