Carol Soffer Indoor Practice Facility
The $40 million Carol Soffer Indoor Practice Facility, opened in 2018, encompasses not just indoor practice fields for football, but also new football coaches offices, new football reception and recruiting areas, weight room renovations and new coaches offices for golf, rowing, soccer and volleyball.
Shane Watersports Center
Located on the scenic Indian Creek waterway, the Shane Watersports Center has been home to the Miami rowing team since its inception in 1991.
Schwartz Center
Located on the north side of the Hecht Athletic Center, the Schwartz Center for Athletic Excellence is an iconic two level, 30,000 square-foot multipurpose athletics facility that serves as the focal point to enhance the complete experience.
Squillante Strength & Conditioning Center
Completed in 2001, the Mark and Jason Squillante Strength & Conditioning Center 11,500-square foot facility is more than double the size of the old weight room and features the latest in strength and conditioning equipment.
Shalala Student Center
The Donna E. Shalala Student Center, funded by a generous $20 million gift from Bruce and Tracey Berkowitz, houses the offices for student activities and student organizations, the Butler Center for Volunteer Service and Leadership Development, Orientation and Commuter Student Involvement, and reservations for the Student Center Complex.
Nutrition Center
In 2020, Miami Athletics opened its new Nutrition Center, fueled by Gatorade. The Nutrition Center is located on the first floor of the Hecht Athletics Center, in close proximity to the weight room and equipment room, offering student-athletes quick and easy access to a variety of healthy food and drink options.
