CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes remained ranked in both major polls Sunday, checking in at No. 21 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 20 in the Amway Coaches Poll for the second straight week.

The Hurricanes (2-1), who topped Toledo, 49-25, in their road opener Saturday, maintained their ranking from the Sept. 9 polls.

Miami’s position of No. 21 in the AP Top 25 marked the 21st straight appearance in the poll, marking a tie for the fifth-longest streak in program history. Miami’s 21st consecutive position in the AP poll represent the 10th-longest active streak in the country.

The Miami Hurricanes continue their schedule on Saturday, Sept. 22 with a home matchup against FIU (2-1). Kickoff for the matchup, set for broadcast on ESPN2, 560 WQAM, 990 AM ESPN Deportes and WVUM 90.5 FM, is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
