Tullis-Joyce Inks Pro Deal with France’s Stade de Reims

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Former University of Miami soccer standout Phallon Tullis-Joyce has officially signed a professional contract to continue her playing career overseas.

A stallworth in net over her five-year career at Miami, Tullis-Joyce has joined Stade de Reims, which competes in the French Ligue 2.

“I’m extremely excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the Stade de Reims family. The coaches, staff and team have been incredibly welcoming… I’m still just getting used to the double cheek kiss though,” Tullis-Joyce said. “I’m looking forward to the high level of training, wearing the Stade de Reims jersey, learning French and getting to know my teammates better.”

A native of Shoreham, N.Y., Tullis-Joyce closed out her illustrious career with 62 starts and ranks in the top-three all-time in numerous categories, with 24 wins (third), 14 shutouts (tied for second), 259 saves (third) and 5,584 minutes in net (second).

During her redshirt senior campaign in 2018, she earned Second Team All-ACC accolades after making a career-high 85 saves, including an ACC-leading 4.72 saves per game. Even more dominant in conference action, she registered 56 saves in 10 matches, including a program record 17 saves at North Carolina on Oct. 21.
