2019 Outdoor: Began her sophomore outdoor season at the Hurricane Invitational, running the fastest-collegiate time in the 200m dash in 23.49 seconds… Helped the Canes finish first in the 4x100m relay, posting a time of 43.86 seconds…. Finished third in the 200m dash at the Power 5 Trailblazer Challenge with a time of 23.67 and helped the Canes win the 4x100m relay with a time of 44.08… Ran the 100m dash in 11.70 seconds at the Florida Relays, was part of the winning 4x100m relay team who recorded a time of 43.56 seconds, which is the third-fastest time in UM history and helped Miami to a fifth-place finish in the 4x400m relay that recorded a time of 3:32.22… Ran 24 flat in the women’s 200m dash at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational, helped the 4x100m relay team finish third with a time of 44.38 and was part of the winning 4x400m relay team that ran a 3:33.56….

2019 Indoor: Finished sixth in the women’s 60m with a time of 7.56 seconds at the UAB Blazer Invite and posted a time of 39.38 seconds in the women’s 300m… Finished fourth in the 60m dash final with a time of 7.46 and won the 200m final with a time of 23.76 at the Virginia Tech “Doc Hale” Elite Meet… Competed in the women’s 60m dash, the 200m and combined to run the then-nation’s ninth fastest 4x400m time of 3:33.99 at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invite… Finished sixth in the 200m with a time of 23.78 seconds and was a member of the 4x400m relay team that won gold with a time of 3:32.75 to push the Canes past FSU to win ACC Indoors.

2018 ACC Outdoor Track MVP 

2018 Outdoor: Started her first collegiate outdoor season as a member of the winning 4x100m team at the Hurricane Invitational finishing with the second-fastest time in UM history with a time of 43.54 seconds and finished second in the women’s 100m with a time of 11.55 seconds… Was also a member of the women’s 4x400m relay team that won the Hurricanes Invitational with a time of 3:34.72… Was a member that finished second in the 4x100m relay with a time of 43.76 seconds at the Florida Relays… Posted two career-best times at the Hurricane Alumni Meet in the 100m with a time of 11.39 seconds and a time of 23.16 seconds in the 200m… Finished third in the women’s 4x100m relay combining to run a time of 43.80 seconds and seventh in the 200m with a time of 23.50 seconds at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational… Was fourth in Heat 3 at the National Relay Championship and 12thoverall in the women’s 100m with a time of 11.57 second, was a member of the women’s 1600m sprint medley relay that finished in fifth-place with a combined time of 3:52.90 and combined to finished fourth in the women’s 4x100m with a time of 43.91… Combined to win gold in the women’s 4x100m relay with a season-best time of 43.48 that is second in UM history to help UM win 2018 ACC Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship, won the women’s 400m with a collegiate-best time of 51.53 seconds for the second-fastest time in UM history, won the 200m final with a time of 23.01 seconds and was named the 2018 ACC Track & Field MVP… Combined to run the 10th-fastest time at the NCAA East Preliminary in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:34.67 and advance to the NCAA Championships… Finished 15thoverall in the 4x400m semifinals with a time of 3:37.38 at the NCAA Championships

2018 Indoor: Placed ninth in 60m at UAB Blazer Invitational with a time of 7.56 seconds…Member of 4x400m relay team that finished fourth at UAB Blazer Invitational with a time of 3:44.87…Was fifth in 60m at Red Raider Invitational with a collegiate-best time of 7.48 seconds…Ran a time of 7.56 seconds in 60m preliminaries at Power 5 Invitational…Placed ninth overall in the 200m at the Power 5 Invitational with a time of 24.28 seconds…Finished third in the 60m final at the Power 5 Invitational with a time of 7.46 seconds…Member of 4x400m relay team that finished second at the Power 5 Invitational with a time of 3:38.53…Won Heat 5 of the women’s 4x400m with a time of 3:46.01 and placed 13th overall at the Tiger Paw Invitational…Was third in Heat 4 of the women’s 200m with a season-best time of 24.15 seconds at the Tiger Paw Invitational…won section 3 of the 4x400m relay and finished third overall with a season-best time of 3:35.23 at the ACC Indoor Championships.

Like her fellow Southridge teammate, Kayla Johnson, Mason will compete for the hometown Hurricanes in college. One of the top sprinters in the country, Mason was named the 2017 Gatorade Track Athlete of the Year for Florida after winning 2017 Florida Class 4A state titles in the 100m, 200m, 400m and 4x400m while helping the Spartans win the team championship. A first team All-Dade selection, Mason is the 2017 USATF 200m champion and the 100m runner-up. She competed in Peru at the Pan-American Junior Athletics Championships, finishing second in the 200m and third in the 100m. Mason also won the 100m at the 2017 Florida Relays and the 2017 New Balance outdoor nationals. Mason competed at the 2015 World Youth Championships in Cali, Colombia, in both the 400m and sprint medley relay. Mason helped Southridge finish second as a team at the 2016 FHSAA Class 4A State Championships and was the 2016 district and regional 200m and 400m champion. Mason also was a finalist in the 200m at the 2016 USATF Junior Nationals and was the 100m and 200m champion at the 2016 Youth Fair Invitational. Mason also won the 400m at the 2016 Louie Bing Invitational and the 2016 GMAC Championships. Mason has personal-bests of 11.24 seconds in the 100m, 23.00 seconds in the 200m, and 52.42 in the 400m.  Mason ranked first in 100m, third in 200m and fifth in 400m in the final girl’s all-class high school national ranking.
