2019 Outdoor: Competed at the Power 5 Trailblazer Challenge for her first outdoor meet with the Canes and finished third in the shot put with a mark of 15.20m and seventh in the discus with a mark of 48.50m.

2019 Indoor: Debuted for the Canes with a ninth place finish in the shot put with a mark of 15.03m at the UAB Blazer Invite… Won the shot put with her mark of 15.38m at the UAB Vulcan Invite… Recorded a personal best mark of 15.85m in the women’s shot put at the Texas Tech Classic… Finished second in the women’s shot put with a mark of 15.62m at the Virginia Tech “Doc Hale” Elite Meet… Recorded another Top-10 finish, placing seventh in the shot put with a mark of 15.66m at the Tiger Paw Invite… Won the bronze medal in the shot put at the ACC Indoor Championships, throwing a personal-best mark of 15.90m.

High School: Dantzler is a talented thrower from Germany who heads to Coral Gables to continue her academic and athletic career. Dantzler finished fourth overall in the women’s shot put at the IAAF World U20 Championships this summer and was the 2018 German Outdoor U20 Vize Champion in the shot put and discus. She won gold in the shot put at the 2017 IAAF World U18 Championships and was the 2017 German U18 Champion in the shot put and discus. Dantzler has had a lot of success in her native country Germany, finishing second in the shot put at the 2017 German Indoor Championships and third in the discus at the same meet. Dantzler was also the bronze medalist in the discus and placed fifth in the shot put at the 2016 German U18 Championship. She has personal-best marks of 52.03m (170-7) in the discus and 16.75 in the shot put.

Personal: Daughter of Kirsten and James Dantzler… Has two older sisters, Marissa and Michelle.
