Enters the spring as the #1 singles player in the country and #7 in the country in doubles with Laura Vallverdu.

Fall 2006: Began her junior year ranked No. 1 in the nation for the second consecutive season and No. 7 in the nation in doubles with freshman Laura Vallverdu…finished her fall campaign with an impressive 11-1 record… defeated 10 ranked opponents during that stretch with six opponents being ranked in the Top 25 in the country…began play this fall at the Gator Fall Classic going 3-0, and defeated #6 Daniela Bercek of Duke 6-1, 6-0 during that weekend…defeated #20 Durkin of Stanford and #14 Cerna of Baylor in the first two rounds of the All American Championships…defeated #9 Srebrovic of Florida 6-4,6-3 in the quarter-finals before losing to Melanie Gloria of Fresno State in the semi-finals…captured the second Collegiate Grand Slam of her career and her first National Indoor Title when she defeated Jelena Pandzic of Fresno Pacific 5-7, 6-4, 6-2…avenged her only loss of the fall when she defeated Gloria of Fresno State in the semi-finals of the National Indoors 6-2,6-2…beecame the second National Indoor Champion at Miami in the last three seasons joining Megan Bradley who won the title in 2004…went 7-4 in doubles with Vallverdu, defeating three ranked teams this fall including No. 8 Coventry and Escamilla of Kentucky and No. 12 Dieskova and Olivos of Oregon.

2005-2006: Named the ITA National Player of the Year, ACC Player of the Year, All-ACC team, Honda Sports Award Finalist…completed her first season at Miami as the No. 1 ranked collegiate tennis player in the country and No. 2 ranked doubles team in the country along side Melissa Applebaum…voted All-American in singles and doubles for the second time in her career…named to the All-NCAA tournament team at the No. 1 position…became Miami’s second consecutive #1 seed in the NCAA tournament…reached the NCAA Round of 16 in singles and the quarterfinals of doubles with Melissa Applebaum…posted a 34-2 overall singles record and a 22-2 mark against ranked opponents, went 30-6 overall in doubles and 24-3 along side Applebaum…went 29-1 in singles at the No. 1 position and enjoyed a career best 27 match win streak…defeated two No. 1 ranked players in Kristi Miller of Georgia Tech and Diana Screbovic of Florida…sat out the fall season while recovering from injury…upon returning to the court, put together one of the most outstanding seasons in Miami Women’s Tennis History…began the spring unranked in the nation and by the NCAA tournament was #1 in the country…helped Miami gain a big win over #3 Texas in Austin, also helped Miami defeat #3 North Carolina in Coral Gables in the heart of the ACC season…clinched the match for Miami in the ACC Championship semi-finals when she defeated Bercek of Duke 3-6,6-3,6-2. Brought her best tennis to the court late in the season by defeating Boston University, FIU and Fresno State in the NCAA Team Championships…defeated #22 Catrina Thompson in Miami’s upset victory of #2 Notre Dame in the NCAA Quarter-finals…caimed a 6-3,6-3 win over Two-time NCAA Champion Amber Liu of Stanford in the NCAA Championship match…enjoyed a 15 match unbeaten streak with Applebaum at the #1 doubles position…biggest win in doubles came against the Catrina and Cristian Thompson and Notre Dame in the NCAA quarter-finals…with the ever important doubles point on the line, Cohen and Applebaum came up with a momentum shifting victory 8-6 to claim the point and push Miami to eventual victory.

2004-05 (Northwestern): Competed in the No. 1 singles position, while compiling 51-7 overall, 23-5 dual, 10-0 Big Ten records…was named All-American in both singles and doubles…finished the season ranked third in singles and second in doubles, with Cristelle Grier, in the ITA final rankings…earned ITA Midwest Regional Rookie Player of the Year Award and also earned the ITA’s National Rookie of the Year Award…named Big Ten Freshman of the Year and Athlete of the Year, becoming only the second women’s tennis player in conference history to sweep those two honors…named to the All-Big Ten team…went 5-1 at NCAA Singles Championships, advancing to the finals before falling to Zuzana Zemenova of Baylor…entered spring season as No. 1 player in singles and doubles alongside Cristelle Grier…held onto top singles ranking for two months before dropping down to No. 3 March 8…her 51 wins ties her for third all-time in the modern era of NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis (since 1988)…one of only eight players to notch at least 50 victories in the modern era … her 51 victories also set a new Northwestern single-season wins record, besting Cristelle Grier’s mark of 40 in 2004… featured in the Faces in the Crowd section of Sports Illustrated’s Thursday, May 12 issue…went 2-1 at ITA National Team Indoor Championship, winning her matches against No. 24 New Mexico and No. 10 Tulane … put together seven-match winning streak in the month of February during which she did not drop a set…only dropped a total of 18 sets in 58 matches total matches…played all but one match at No. 1 singles…one of five Wildcats to go undefeated in regular-season Big Ten singles action…alongside Grier, defeated nation’s fifth-ranked doubles team of Catrina and Christian Thompson from Notre Dame, 8-4 (4/14)…46 of her 51 wins came in straight sets…won two singles matches at Big Ten Tournament, helping Northwestern to its seventh-straight title.

Fall 2004 (Northwestern): Began collegiate career with 23 straight singles wins, before falling in the round of 16 at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships… finished the fall 23-1…became the first Northwestern player to win the ITA National Singles Title…followed the national title by winning the ITA Midwest Championships…defeated teammate and No. 1-ranked player Cristelle Grier three times during the fall season…teamed with Grier to win ITA National Indoor Doubles Championship…posted a12-0 doubles record.

Prep: Won the state championship in singles and doubles as a junior and a senior… State runner-up as a freshman … earned All-American honors and was undefeated in both her junior and senior seasons …undefeated during junior and senior seasons … Four-time All-State and All-County awards … was named the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel Player of the Year her junior and senior seasons…was ranked No. 1 national in singles and doubles in under 18 juniors…as a senior, earned the USTA National Sportsmanship Award and was named USTA Florida Player of the Year…played in the doubles main draw in the U.S. Open as a senior…an Easter Bowl double champion and singles finalist…a doubles champion in the Clay Courts Super Nationals, Hard Court Super Nationals and the Winter Super Nationals.
