CAREER: Extremely talented running back who could be the team’s best breakaway threat among the returning running backs…Star athlete was one of three freshman runners recruited in 2004…Returned from a knee injury to play in the second half of his sophomore season in 2005…Played as the No. 4 running back and on special teams as a true freshman in 2004…Has breakaway speed and an exceptional burst even after the injury…Is also tough running between the tackles…Suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in December 2004 practice…Ran on the track team in spring 2006, recording the team’s top indoor marks in the 55-meters (6.52) and 60-meters (7.01). Also ran the opening leg of the 4×100-meter relay that placed third at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships…Liberal arts major.

2005 (SOPHOMORE): Returned 10 months after suffering a torn ACL and played as a backup running back the second half of the season…For the year, played in six of the last eight games…Rushed 14 times for 97 yards (6.9-yard average)…Did not play in the season’s first four games…Saw his first action of the year in the fourth quarter vs. Duke and ripped off a 46-yard run on his first carry. Finished the game with four carries for 56 yards…Saw considerable playing time in the second half at Temple, rushing six times for 13 yards…Did not play against North Carolina and Virginia Tech, then rushed four times for 28 yards at Wake Forest…Played on special teams in the final three games.

2004 (FRESHMAN): Team’s No. 4 tailback played in six games and rushed for 41 yards on 16 carries and scored one touchdown…Did not play in the season opener, then saw his first action as a Hurricane in the second game vs. Louisiana Tech, playing as reserve running back in the fourth quarter and rushing five times for 21 yards…Played the next week at Houston and carried two times for three yards…Played in the fourth quarter at Georgia Tech and rushed two times for no yards…Played the next week at Houston and carried two times for three yards…Played on special teams vs. Louisville, at NC State and at North Carolina, then did not play vs. Clemson and Virginia…Played in the fourth quarter in a blowout of Wake Forest and had season-high seven carries for 17 yards and the first touchdown of his UM career. Scored the game’s final TD on a three-yard run with 50 seconds remaining…Did not play in the regular-season finale vs. Virginia Tech…Was injured in bowl practice on Dec. 17 and did not play in the Peach Bowl vs. Florida…Underwent surgery on Jan. 12.
