2001 (SOPHOMORE): Saw action in six games as a reserve offensive lineman…during Miami’s march to the 2001 national championship…earned BIG EAST All-Academic Team honors for the second straight year.

2000 (FRESHMAN): Played in two games…saw action against McNeese State and Boston College…moved to tight end from the offensive line during spring practice…a BIG EAST All-Academic Team honoree.

1999 (REDSHIRT): Spent season as a member of the Hurricanes’ scout team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Marathon…SuperPrep’s No. 31 player in Florida…started at offensive tackle, snapper and defensive end during senior season…started along the offensive line all four seasons…named to the Ocala Star-Banner’s Top 100 Players of Florida…Florida’s #5 offensive tackle on Florida Times-Union Super 75…No. 42 on Tampa Tribune Florida top 50…was a PrepStar regional All-American…a Gridiron Greats selection…named to the All-State first-team…helped his team to an 8-2 record and a spot in the state playoffs during his senior campaign…a Wendy’s Heisman nominee…a dean’s list and National Honor Society student…also lettered in basketball…captained both sports during his senior year…senior season football and basketball team MVP…was a four-year starting center on the basketball squad…coached by Steve McAnelly.
