Named to the 2011 Baseball America Freshman All-America Second Team… Finished the 2011 campaign with a team-leading nine wins, amassing a 9-2 record with a team third-lowest 3.35 earned run average… The Miami native and Florida Christian School product started a team-high matching 16 games for the Hurricanes, including becoming the first freshman in more than 20 years to start a season-opener on the hill. In the season-opener for UM against Rutgers (Feb. 18)… Against Rutgers, he struck out eight and allowed just a single earned run on three hits scattered across six full innings without factoring into the decision – an eventual extra-innings win for the Canes… The crafty left-hander finished the season ranked in the top 10 for the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) across several categories… Led the league in runners picked off (10), tied for fifth in starts (16), tied for eighth in wins (9) and was 10th in batters struck out (92) – all in 91 1/3 innings worked… Ended the season with six consecutive wins in games for which he earned a decision… He took a no-decision in an NCAA Gainesville [Fla.] Regional elimination game against Jacksonville (June 5), and failed to factor into the decision in Miami’s victory over North Carolina as part of the ACC Tournament (May 26)… Against Jacksonville in the Canes’ 6-3 win, Radziewski tossed 6 2/3 innings and fanned seven – also allowing three runs on seven hits…
