Anthony Fortier joined the University of Miami in August 2023 as the Associate Director of Equipment Operations working with the Football program. Fortier arrived at Miami from the University of Texas at San Antonio where he served as the Assistant Athletics Director for Equipment Operations. Prior to UTSA, Fortier was the Director of Equipment Operations at the University of Tulsa.
A native of Palm City, Fla., Fortier graduated from Florida Atlantic University in June 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Minor in History. Fortier also received a Master’s in History from the University of Tulsa in July 2019.
Fortier is a certified Athletic Equipment Manager and received a certificate in the Fundamentals of Global Sports Management from New York University in May 2020.
