Joe Williams began as the Director of Creative Video at the University of Miami in July of 2023. Prior to joining the Canes, Williams spent time as an Assistant Director of Creative Video at Mississippi State and NC State University. During his time with Mississippi State, Williams was the lead videographer/editor for their 2021 National Championship Baseball team.
Williams leads the talented Creative Video team. Williams’ team produces videos to tell the story of Miami’s student-athletes while bringing Canes fans an inside look into the athletic teams.
Williams grew up in Haymarket, Va. and went to school at James Madison University, where he played baseball and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
