Sam Smith was named to his current role of Senior Account Manager / Sales in December 2023.
He serves on a team selling tickets for Miami Hurricanes athletic events to individuals and businesses of South Florida.
Smith joined the University of Miami Athletics Department as an Account Executive in January of 2022.
Prior to joining the Hurricanes, Sam worked in sales positions for both the Orange Bowl Committee and Chicago Fire Soccer Club, and as a logistics account manager for Hub Group, before returning to work in sports for the Canes.
A native of Downers Grove, IL, Smith graduated from Ohio University in Athens, OH with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in Journalism
